What does “Research Use Only” mean?
Products offered by Twisted Ladder Labs are intended exclusively for legitimate laboratory and scientific research purposes. They are not intended for human or veterinary use, consumption, or therapeutic applications.
Are Twisted Ladder Labs products intended for human use?
No. All products sold by Twisted Ladder Labs are designated Research Use Only (RUO) and are not intended for human or veterinary use.
Our products are not sold as drugs, dietary supplements, food products, cosmetics, or medical treatments.
Do you provide dosing, reconstitution, or administration instructions?
No. Because our products are intended exclusively for laboratory research, Twisted Ladder Labs does not provide dosing protocols, administration instructions, or recommendations regarding human or veterinary use.
Our educational materials focus on scientific literature, mechanisms of action, and areas of ongoing research.
How old do I need to be to place an order?
You must be 21 years of age or older to purchase products from Twisted Ladder Labs.
By placing an order, purchasers acknowledge that they meet our age requirements and understand that our products are sold exclusively for research purposes.
Quality & Testing
Are your products third-party tested?
Yes. Twisted Ladder Labs utilizes independent third-party analytical testing through Janoshik Analytical for product quality verification.
Testing documentation is associated with specific products and batches.
What is a Certificate of Analysis (COA)?
A Certificate of Analysis is a laboratory report containing analytical information about a tested sample.
Depending on the analysis performed, a COA may provide information regarding compound identity, quantity, purity, or other analytical characteristics.
How can I request a COA?
Certificates of Analysis are available upon request.
Please email info@twistedladderlabs.com with the product name and, when available, the batch or lot number shown on the product.
Our team will provide the applicable documentation for that batch.
Does third-party testing mean a product is approved for human use?
No.
Laboratory testing provides analytical information about a research material. It does not constitute FDA approval, establish clinical safety or effectiveness, or change the product’s designation as Research Use Only.
Ordering & Shipping
Where does Twisted Ladder Labs ship?
We currently ship exclusively within the United States.
International shipping is not available at this time.
Do you offer local pickup?
No. Twisted Ladder Labs currently operates as an online business and does not offer local pickup.
Will I receive tracking information?
When tracking is available for your shipment, it will be provided electronically using the contact information associated with your order.
What should I do if my order arrives damaged, incorrect, or incomplete?
Please contact us at info@twistedladderlabs.com and include your order number, a description of the issue, and photographs when applicable.
Claims are reviewed individually, and our team will respond within 48 hours of receiving your request.
Storage & Handling
How should unopened research materials be stored?
Storage requirements may vary by compound.
As a general laboratory practice, lyophilized research materials should be kept sealed, protected from light, moisture, excessive heat, and repeated temperature fluctuations. For longer-term storage, refrigeration or freezing may be appropriate depending on the specific material.
Always refer to the product-specific information and applicable laboratory handling procedures when determining storage conditions.
Why are some products supplied as lyophilized powder?
Lyophilization, commonly called freeze-drying, removes water from a material under controlled conditions. This format is commonly used in laboratory settings to help improve the stability of certain research materials during storage and transportation.
